Digital Planning Guide
General
Yes, you can use the planner across multiple devices since it's a PDF file. It's compatible with various operating systems, allowing you to use it simultaneously on iPad/Android tablets and Mac/Windows computers. For optimal use:
- If your primary devices are iPad/Android tablets and laptops, the Ultimate Planner is recommended for its convenient navigation and versatile functionality.
- If you primarily use smartphones like iPhone or Samsung Galaxy, the Smartphone Planners would be more suitable.
Note: Your handwriting app must support sync functionality. GoodNotes is one recommended option.
By default, your planner starts with the current month of purchase. However, you can customize the start date to any day within the current year through the customization menu. Each planner includes 12 months of content.
- If you download without customization, you'll receive a planner starting from the current month and ending one year later (e.g., September 2025 to August 2026 if September 2025 is selected).
- For a complete year planner, you can download a second planner starting from January 1st of the following year at no additional cost.
If this option was chosen during customization, your Digital Planner will included links to your digital calendar (Apple Calendar / Google Calendar / etc.). By clicking the link, you will be able to quickly add an event to your calendar for a selected date and time. You can also sync your digital planner with your calendar by inserting existing events for selected dates and times using this Shortcut
To move the tabs in the planner, you can choose from "Right-handed" mode (tabs on the right side/right+left) or "Left-handed" mode (tabs on the left side/left+right) and No Tabs mode.
In the Planner Settings and Layouts menu, please navigate to the Daily section and click on it. You will see 2 pages for which you can choose layouts. Click on the first page and select the layout that works best for you, then repeat for the second one. You can select different layouts or the same layout, which will add 2x times more Daily Pages. If you need even more Daily Pages, I suggest that the Daily Digital Planner is the best option for you. It has 4 Daily Pages to configure.
The easiest way is customize the planner, using the guide from our YouTube videoon this topic.
If you want to change some title on templates, press on the GEAR button near the checkbox on the template in "Planner settings and Layouts" menu. This feature already available for part of the templates, but not for all of them. We're working on it.

Kindle Scribe
The recommended method for importing files is through the Amazon website:
- Visit the Send to Kindle page
- Select the planner you want to upload
- Note: The file size limit is 200 MB per upload
Important: The Kindle Scribe browser doesn't support direct PDF downloads. Always use the Send to Kindle website for importing your planner.
Navigate through your planner by:
- Tapping on hyperlinks or using the sidebars (right/top) with your finger.
- If you prefer using the stylus, enable pen input to use it for clicking links.
The Kindle Scribe browser doesn't support downloading PDFs directly. Instead, use the Send to Kindle Website to import your planner.
Since digital planners are PDF files, they won't appear under "Library" or "Notebooks." Instead:
- Go to the "Home" tab and check under "Recent." Why they don't appear in the Library or Notebooks tabs remains a mystery.
If your question isn't covered here, check the Official Kindle Scribe FAQ for more help.

- Alternatively, you can use the stylus for navigation, but you'll need to enable the pen input first so it can interact with links.
Since BOOX devices run on Android, you can use apps like Noteshelf or Penly, which are highly recommended for working with PDFs. You can download these apps from Google Play. While the built-in app is functional, it offers fewer features compared to these popular alternatives.
In some cases, single-page templates for the Notes app may be more practical than full planners. The Notes app supports both PDF and PNG formats. To get started:
